The Kendrick Brothers return to where it all began with Flywheel Ignition of the Soul, the long-awaited sequel to their 2003 debut film Flywheel, continuing the story that launched their filmmaking journey. Known for high-grossing Christian films such as War Room (2015), Courageous (2011), and Fireproof (2008), the brothers now revisit the message and legacy that first put them on the map. Alex Kendrick, who founded Kendrick Brothers Productions with his brother Stephen in 2013, wrote on the Flywheel Facebook page that Flywheel was the story that “launched the Kendrick Brothers’ global film ministry” and that the new version reimagines and remakes the original movie. “We’ve waited a long time for this,” Kendrick wrote.
