American Idol crowned its newest winner on Monday night as stay-at-home mom Hannah Harper took home the Season 24 title following a star-studded live finale. Harper defeated finalists Jordan McCullough and Keyla Richardson after weeks of competition that showcased some of the strongest vocalists in recent Idol history. But beyond the competition itself, viewers also noticed the strong expressions of faith throughout the evening. Runner-up Jordan McCullough, a worship leader from Tennessee, returned to the song that first introduced many viewers to his faith-filled artistry by performing Bethel Music's "Goodness of God" during the finale. Christian artist Tori Kelly performed her latest song, "Control," at the finale with other contestants. Throughout the night, God's name was openly praised by several contestants and performers.
