Christian Contemporary Radio Continues To Consolidate As Salem Media Sells 7 Major Stations

Salem Media Group has announced that it is exiting the Christian Contemporary Radio business by selling seven of its stations to Educational Media Foundation (EMF). EMF, a nonprofit organization and the second-largest radio broadcaster in the United States, operates the prominent Christian music networks K-LOVE and Air1. The stations being acquired by EMF include “104.7 The Fish” WFSH-FM Athens/Atlanta GA, “95.5 The Fish” WFHM Cleveland, 102.7 KBIQ Manitou Springs/Colorado Springs, 94.9 KLTY Dallas, “95.9 The Fish” KFSH La Mirada/Los Angeles, “104.1 The Fish” KFIS Scoppoose/Portland, and “103.9 The Fish” KKFS Lincoln/Sacramento.
