During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Cross Movement stood as one of the pioneers of Christian hip-hop (CHH). Many current fans of the subgenre became embedded fans of CHH as a positive alternative to what the world offered due to the talents of Ambassador, Flame, DA' T.R.U.T.H., Phanatik, Tru-Life, The Tonic, and others collectively known as Cross Movement. Brady "Phanatik" Goodwin was lethal with his delivery and content aligned with the word of God. A student of the faith, he intentionally dug deep into his walk and how the Bible influenced such. Sadly, recently Phanatik posted a 24-minute video on Facebook detailing the deconstruction of his faith and what ultimately occurred for him to stop believing in God and His Son Jesus.
